About Us

For nearly two decades the Jewish Community of Lviv, Ukraine - formerly Lvov formerly Lemberg - has been 'twinned' with Hampstead Garden Suburb Synagogue ('HGSS') of Norrice Lea London N2. As part of those twinning arrangements HGSS raises funds for the support of the community in Lviv to fund the Jewish School and other welfare programmes.

HGSS FRIENDS OF LVOV is a Company limited by guarantee and a recognised charity registered with the Charity Commission. Its officers are all members of HGSS. The Company works in association with HGSS to fulfill the Synagogue's twinning obligations.
